Kushal Budhia named as head of furniture business at Pepperfry

Kushal Budhia has been announced as the new leader of Pepperfry's furniture business, a marketplace for furniture and home goods. Budhia previously served as the head of corporate strategy at Pepperfry, where he oversaw corporate development and financial planning and analysis since his appointment in 2021.

In his new role, Budhia will take charge of expanding Pepperfry's marketplace and growing its D2C private labels. Leveraging his expertise in strategic planning, he will focus on realising the company's medium- and long-term growth objectives while establishing a viable and profitable business model.

Budhia's responsibilities will involve overseeing critical growth aspects of Pepperfry's furniture business, including enhancing brand identity, broadening partnerships with merchants, introducing new product lines, improving sourcing capabilities, optimising merchandising strategies, and achieving better business unit economics.
