Law roundup: Teens sound the alarm on graduation night

Teens with a speaker and a microphone in a sedan were reportedly blaring noises that sounded like those that emergency vehicles use and it was "really distracting" to a woman. She told the Kalispell Police Department that she also worried it would cause an accident.

Ten loud teens in two Astro vans were allegedly drinking and walking around an apartment parking lot with bags thrown over their shoulders. Officers counseled the group about curfew, but didn't see any signs they had been drinking. Officers received another call later on describing one van toting "twice as many teens" to the parking lot. This time the van reportedly had its hazard lights on, the youths were honking the horn and what sounded like an argument ensued.

A customer complained about a man playing an "extremely loud" violin and displaying a sign with information on how to give him money through a phone app.

An intoxicated man reportedly strangled his girlfriend who bit him

Someone allegedly drove around town calling in every homeless person they saw asking for money. In one instance they called to report a woman with a sign who was "very aggressively" begging for money. Officers made contact with the woman who was found to be abiding by the city's new panhandling ordinance.

A woman called the police alleging her husband beat her up, injuring her lip and face, and requested medical attention. The husband alleged that she attacked him when he got home and his arm was bleeding from her nails. He then said he took away a bottle she was drinking from and may have hit her in the face.

Four teens in a white truck were reportedly catcalling a woman sitting in front of a bank and the harassment had been going on for weeks. She said she felt unsafe because she saw them hurt people in recent weeks.

An apartment building manager was concerned about two girls’ safety when they allegedly knocked down a concrete pillar in the playground and were using it to try and climb onto the building. The manager eventually yelled at them to stop.
