Man charged with shooting coworker with nail gun

MIDDLEBURY — An Elkhart man is accused of shooting a co-worker in the back with an industrial nail gun.
Fernando Garcia Lopez, 37, is charged with battery with a deadly weapon after allegedly shooting a coworker in the back with a pneumatic nail gun. He was arrested on the Level 5 felony after police responded to Champagne Metals in Middlebury on Sept. 28.
