Megan Fox and MGK's Inevitable Nail Polish Collab Is Here — See Photos

It was only a matter of time! If your fiancé had his own nail polish line, wouldn't you want to create your own collection for it? Megan Fox just collaborated with her beloved, Machine Gun Kelly, on a handful of polishes for his UN/DN LAQR brand — and each one has a special significance for the actor.

Nails are a big part of both Fox and MGK's aesthetic; in the past, we've seen them chained together via their nails and sporting matching manicures when they announced their engagement. A collab between the star-crossed lovers was the natural next step for UN/DN, and Allure spoke exclusively with Fox about her inspiration for the collection.

"The collection is themed around some of my favorite crystals and gemstones," Fox shares. "I love wearing jewel tones as they play well against my natural coloring." The line also reflects the natural world and changing seasons, as well as Fox's interest in astrology. "Winter is a time for all types of 'hibernation' or turning inward; we see this with animals as well as plants during this season," Fox explained. "This is a waning (withdrawing) time, not a waxing (growing) time."

During the winter, Fox often reaches for stones and crystals in similar hues to her polishes. "These particular colors reflect stones that help me during this season: lapis lazuli and malachite are grounding and protecting stones. They guard against psychic attacks — you receive these constantly being famous — and they work well to restore confidence." As for that deep, glamorous red, Fox says, "Ruby is a sensual stone and very necessary to maintain passion during certain transits – hello Mars retrograde!"

You can channel your inner Fox; polishes aren't sold separately but bundled together to create an experience of color, giving you the opportunity to mix and match colors or create custom looks with glitter or matte topcoats.

The Play with Fire Kit, which retails for $90, is a six-piece set featuring four of Fox's curated colors: Twin Flame (ruby), Past Life (blue), Deep Breath (moonstone glitter) and Brutal Honesty (emerald green), plus Third Eye and the Nothing Matte (rs) Top Coat. The Big Bang Kit, which retails for $56, is a cool-toned trio of Past Life, Deep Breath, and Brutal Honesty. "Colors have A LOT to do with our moods and so I chose colors that will help you to feel centered. Clear. And sexy," Fox explains.

While the collection is all Fox, Machine Gun Kelly does make an appearance in some of the campaign imagery, his nails painted with bright blue polish Past Life alongside Fox's vibrant green. According to Fox, Brutal Honesty is her favorite shade in the collection, and not just because it matches her emerald and diamond engagement ring. "This color is very special," she shares. "It has a strong sexual energy that helps me feel aligned with my heart and my truest desires."
