Pedestrian struck, killed on Tamiami Trail in North Port

NORTH PORT — A pedestrian was killed when he was struck by a car on U.S. 41 in North Port, police reported Friday.

The incident occurred at 8:11 p.m. Thursday on Tamiami Trail at Bolander Terrace, near Pan American Boulevard, according to a report by North Port Police.
