City of Toledo

Jul 18, 2023

Due to extreme heat and heavy pollen, some areas of the Beverly neighborhood have not been serviced today. Routes that were not completed Friday, June 2 will be collected Saturday, June 3. Thanks for your patience.

We've partnered with Republic Services to facilitate much of the trash and recycling services for our residents. For questions and concerns about trash, recycling, or bulk pickup, please call Republic Services at 419-936-2511.

Find your trash pickup schedule

Garbage collection is handled by Republic Services and is collected weekly. All trash should be bagged and placed inside your gray refuse container which can be set out on the curb the night before your scheduled pickup and should be promptly put away once collection is complete.

2023 Recycling and Trash Pickup Schedule

Toledo residents who need help getting their recycling and trash containers to the curb should call Republic Services to request an application.

Recycling is also picked up by Republic Services and is collected every other week. Only certain types of materials may be placed inside your blue recycling container and all items should be clean and free of food remnants before placing in the bin.

Republic Services offers residents one free bulk pickup per month. Please call to schedule the pickup before placing large items at the curb. Items will be collected one business day following your regular waste collection (example: waste collection day is Wednesday = bulk day is Thursday).

All loose waste must be bagged. Wood/branches must be bundled and tied no larger than 3’ by 4’ and not heavier than 30 pounds per bundle; nails/screws must be pounded down or removed. Bulk items must be placed at curb in front of home. No alley pickup and no side street pickup.
